Northwest's computer business applications program prepares students for the real world of business: professional success in computers. Students learn how to apply spreadsheets, databases, word processing and applications that relate to office procedures. Become an expert at Northwest and carry your skillsets into the business world!
For transfer students the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) is a flexible, individually tailored degree for students pursuing a vocational, technical or associate degree. Coursework for these degrees build on workplace skills and practical career training provided by an associate degree. Students may find a B.A.S. appealing for the following reasons:

What Can I Do With a Major in Computer Business Applications?
MINK WIC (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas Women in Computing) empowers women in the computing and technology fields by encouraging them to share experiences and strategies for success. In previous years, more than 240 students, educators and professionals from the region gathered to share their passion for computer science and technology.
The Association of Computing Machinery promotes interests in computers and applications and connects like-minded individuals.
The Association of Computing Machinery - Women's (ACM-W) also supports women in computing and works with a community of computer scientists, educators, employers and policy makers to improve working and learning environments for women.
